Data we collect

When you subscribe to the newsletter we store: your email address, your selected language, the IP address used at sign-up and at confirmation, and the timestamps of those actions. We use this data to deliver the newsletter and to demonstrate consent as required by GDPR.

Legal basis

Processing is based on your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), collected via double opt-in.

Who processes your data

Emails are delivered via Resend, which acts as a data processor. Site analytics are collected via Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool we self-host: no cookies are used, no personal data is collected, IP addresses are hashed and never stored.

Your rights

You can unsubscribe at any time via the link at the bottom of every email. You can request access, correction, or deletion of your data by writing to privacy@macrorecap.com.

Retention

Subscriber data is retained as long as your subscription is active. Upon unsubscription the record is kept for up to 12 months to prevent accidental re-subscription.
