1. Who we are

MacroRecap ("the Service", "we", "our") is an information service providing macroeconomic data, market indicators, and AI-generated commentary. By accessing or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

2. Not financial advice

The Service is for informational and educational purposes only. Nothing published on MacroRecap — including data, charts, briefings, interpretations, deep dives, regime snapshots, or any other content — constitutes financial, investment, legal, tax, or any other form of professional advice, solicitation, or recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset.

AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or misinterpretations. You must independently verify any data or conclusion before acting on it, and consult a qualified professional for financial decisions. You bear sole responsibility for any use you make of the information.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in link and account secure. You must provide accurate information and not impersonate another person.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) scrape, copy, or redistribute our content at scale without permission; (b) reverse-engineer or interfere with the Service; (c) use the Service for unlawful activity; (d) attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems; (e) upload malware or abuse our APIs.

5. Data sources and third parties

Macroeconomic data is sourced from public providers (including but not limited to the Federal Reserve Economic Data (FRED) / St. Louis Fed, Eurostat, ECB). Commentary is generated with help from AI providers (Gemini by Google). Emails are delivered via Resend. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of data provided by third parties.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, its design, software, trademarks, and editorial content are owned by MacroRecap or its licensors. Raw macroeconomic data belongs to its original providers under their respective terms. You may view content for personal, non-commercial use. All other rights are reserved.

7. Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time without notice. We may update these Terms; the "last updated" date above will change and continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that defects will be corrected.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MacroRecap and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or trading losses, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed EUR 50 or the amount you paid us in the preceding twelve months (whichever is greater).

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms or for any other legitimate reason.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent Italian courts, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection provisions.
